Deborah Prema Ford (Prema DevInderjeet Kaur) is a KRI Certified, Yoga Alliance Registered 200hrRYT Kundalini yoga teacher and Certified Trauma Sensitive Yoga Therapist. She has completed several advanced Kundalini yoga trainings towards 500hr RYT certification, as well as, Level Three Art and Yoga Teacher Training with her revered teacher and mentor, Hari Kirin Kaur Khalsa. She is also a board Certified, Registered Art Therapist and a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with many years experience of integrating Therapeutic art and Yoga.
Prema utilizes a heart centered, therapeutic and creative approach to teaching yoga, integrating her experience in Expressive Arts Therapies with the sacred, spiritual, deep healing practices of Kundalini Yoga and Meditation. She holds a deep belief in the power of the practice to dissolve mental and emotional blocks that keep us stuck in negative patterns, so we can come into internal alignment with our own best self, cultivate resilience and strength so we can choose to have more love and peace in our lives!
Anthony Shufelt RYT
Anthony Shufelt considers himself a student of the world. It was his experiences through travel that grew his love for yoga. It is been his tool for self realization and exploration of body movement. In 2016 he set off to Thailand to complete his 200 hr YTT in Hatha / Vinyasa Yoga. Since his training he has traveled the world attending yoga festivals, retreats and workshops absorbing up all the information he can. Anthony is now based in Western Mass sharing his well rounded practice that melds a unique blend of traditional yoga and dynamic movements.His classes can be challenging but will have you walking away with a feeling of bliss. He is passionate about his yoga practice and his new love for hand balancing. You can catch him around town balancing on his hands. Anthony looks forward to sharing his practice with you.
LivAvtar Lisa Haskin OTR/L, RYT
Liv Avtar Kaur (Lisa Haskin) has been dedicated to her yoga practice for nearly 30 years. She has explored many styles of yoga and meditation including Iyangar, Vinyasa Yoga and Vipassana (mindfulness meditation). Liv Avtar became a certified Kripalu Yoga Instructor in 1997 and taught for many years in the Seacoast NH area. Most recently, Liv Avtar has been exploring the beautiful practice of Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan. In 2011, she became a certified K.R.I Kundalini Yoga Instructor and taught at Kundalini Yoga Boston. Liv Avtar recently relocated to the Valley and is excited to share her practice at Solstice Yoga.
Patrick Crowley has been a yogi since 1982. Having trained in Hatha, Kundalini, and Iyengar yoga, his most influential teachers include Carolyn Shakti Sadeh, Nirinjin Kaur Khalsa, and Angela Farmer. Patrick brings a philosophical aspect to his teaching influenced by theYoga Sūtras of Patañjali. He has taught at numerous centers and schools, including the Cambridge YMCA, Dance Complex, Cambridge School of Weston, Boston University, Shelburne Falls Yoga, Wild Life Sanctuary, Yoga Sanctuary, and Upstairs Studio.
Vickie Healy, RN, BSN, Ayurvedic Practitioner and Yoga Alliance RYT 500
Vickie is a Registered Nurse with extensive knowledge and experience related to health and wellness, Yoga and Ayurveda. She has 40 years of nursing experience helping people in their healing journey. Taking care of the whole person by nurturing mind, body, heart and soul is the foundation of her practice. She was drawn to Kundalini Yoga when she attended a professional training in SuperHealth, a Kundalini specialty practice for the treatment of habit behaviors and substance addictions.
